Why do the framing kits include acrylic?

Glass cannot be freighted with your picture frame kit.

The acrylic we use is very clear and distortion free, and as good as glass! Clear acrylic is the best choice if you prefer the look of glass.

Non-glare acrylic can distort the image, therefore we do not supply this alternative.

If you have concerns about reflection and glare then you first should consider moving the picture to an area where there will be less glare. After all, the suns rays will fade your artwork and this is probably of more concern than unwanted reflection.
