Hinging or Mounting your Artworks

There are several different mounting or hinging tapes available on the market. It is most important that you never use “sticky tape” or “masking tape”. This will stain the artwork, and will loose its adhesive properties quite quickly. So a good quality, acid free mounting tape is essential. You can purchase the  mounting tape in your shopping cart. An illustrated set of instructions is included with each pack of tape.

How to use the tape

• Apply a small strip approx. 4cm long, to the back of the artwork.
• If the artwork is 40cm -16 inch, long or less, then use two hinges; if longer than 40cm use three hinges.
• Position/align the mount over the artwork and press down to secure the hinge in position.
• Do not place the tape down the sides or across the bottom of the artwork.
